Let's Got to the Beach on Marco Island

Resident's Beach

  • Marco Island Resident's Beach offers Bathrooms, Grass Tiki huts and parking.
  • The city of Marco Island holds a variety of events and celebrations there throughout the year. Access to Resident's Beach is for Marco Island residents only.
  • Visitors staying on Marco Island can apply for a temporary permit with the City of Marco Island.

Tigertail Beach

  • There are 31 acres of natural environment and beach amenities. Amenities include restrooms, a bathhouse, five boardwalks, a picnic area, playground, sand volleyball court and a butterfly garden. Kayaks and water bikes can be hired as well as cabana rentals.
  • A unique feature of this beach is the sandbar that is becoming a new barrier island called Sand Dollar Island. Changes are evident on an annual basis.
  • Parking spaces total 210, so their is usually plenty of parking at Tigertail Beach. Parking is free to Collier County residents and cost $4.00 for visitors.

Marco Island South Beach Access

  • Located on South Collier Boulevard, Marco Island, 70 parking spaces, no facilities. $4.00 Parking Fee payable to the Master Meter, or Beach Parking Permit required.
  • The Beach is open from sunrise to sundown.
