Always a hot topic on Marco Island the Track K debate begins again!
The City of Marco Island may soon enter into negotiations with Collier County School District staff to acquire one of the last pieces of undeveloped land on the island not owned by the city.
The Deltona Corporation master plan for the Marco Island community included every aspect of life on Marco Island. Track K was set aside for schools, more specifically a high school. Collier County School Board is not going to build a school there, so the debate begins what to do with the land....
Residents in the area have concerns, parents on the Island have their ideas and taxpayers yet another. Can the city come up with solution that will leave everyone happy? What do you think?
